Susan Boyle Sings Cry Me A River

Susan Boyle--the overnight sensation from Britain's Got Talent--singing a simply moving Cry Me A River on a charity CD done for the Millennium celebration in 1999.

Here's the video everyone is talking about--they won't let you embed it anymore. I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables.

Seeing her rock Simon Cowell back with her amazing voice made my week.

Smooches and some bring on the weekend gropes babies!

Yes, but can she do metal?

She sings a bunch for sure.
She ain't much to look at tho that will prolly hurt her as far as marketability.

Maybe not though, good luck to her!

She definitely blew me away. And I loved Simon's reaction.

great version of "cry me a river" - love how clean and clear and sweet and sad... thanks for posting that!

that gal is singing for all of us who aren't model-gorgeous, coat-hanger thin and waxed/polished like naked mole rats...

I wept like a baby to hear her sing. So many emotions from me...

I watched the video a few times already. I am such a sap, it makes me break out in tears every time.

To see the cynical look on everyone's face and then see her do that.

NEVER judge a book by it's cover!!!

When I first saw this, I wondered if she prefers to be on top or bottom. Cheers!!

When I hear this I think "Bond theme song". I hope she gets to do that.

I saw this - she's pretty good but it's more impressive because she looks so unlikely.

I was amazed too. What a voice! And it was nice to see Simon stunned for once. LOL

I loved seeing Simon's jaw drop - watched that bit a couple times just for the satisfaction it gave me.

As far as her looks, I think they could work with her - she's got decent teeth, thank God. Doing something with her eyebrows and hair would make a huge difference!

Is it just me (which it usually is) but does Susan Boyle look a bit like Fred Flintstone's illegitimate daughter?
