A couple of months ago I posted a video I took of the bowling ball sign on fire at the Southland Collins Bowling Center where we karaoke. You can see the video here. I was a little silly;-)
Despite promises of of repair the ball remains in its damaged state---it's weeping some sort of insulation (probably asbestos laden).
It's very surreal to see it this way.It would be a sad thing to have them tear it down.
I hope y'all are are having a lovely weekend. I'm dorkily excited because NASCAR starts tonight! We'll have to watch the last bit at karaoke but that's cool. We are taking the camera to take more video. Stay tuned.

NASCAR would be more fun if the drivers had to do a shot every time they pit and if the even-numbered cars went clockwise while the odd ones went counter. Also celebrity snipers would be good.

My mom is also quite excited about the start of racing season. She's more into drags and Formula 1, but she'll watch NASCAR too.
