Shiny Things

Hey y'all

Meet Aureelia

We've spent some quality time sharing our Christmas presents to each other which includes playing some World of Warcraft. I had to pick a name for my character and, in casting about for something I liked, came up with Aureelia--a feminine variation on Aurelius derived from Latin aureus "golden, gilded". I didn't know that when I picked it. I just loved the name from one of the characters in the movie Love, Actually.

This game has increased my skills with my MacBook---I've learned new things that I didn't know how to make it do ---like a screen capture--that make me love it even more.

Brad had been playing for a bit and already has a higher level character. He created an 'alt' so he could help me level--although I seem to be quite good at that on my own*giggle* and we've been having a great time playing together. Of course we were already damn good at that;-)

Smooches and some Silvermoon gropes babies.

I have a serious itch now to go get a new gaming rig.

Serious.

Itch.

Can you change her name to Midori and make her Japanese?

Dawg: Scratching an itch can feel so good;-)

Turnbaby said...

Grant: LOL no---but you can. The Blood Elf is a very malleable character.

I've been curious about the game Warcraft forever now...but I'm afraid to get addicted! heh

Sarcastica: I was a little skeptical but I did some research about classes and watched Brad play. I've always done console games before. It is certainly a lot of fun.

Dude, I barely have time to scratch my vulva much less a gaming itch.

*Sigh* Maybe someday...

And yes, I used vulva in a sentence. In your comments. FEAR ME! :)

CMG: Well it's time we took a walk on the beach and talked about that itching vulva of yours.

Oh no! It's a slippery slope. Be careful, pretty soon he'll have you doing that gator chomp thing even when they are playing against UK.

I've never played this game, but I rock at naming characters.

Turnbaby said...

Shelli: That will never happen although I did do the chomp at the Georgia fans when we played them right after Florida slaughtered them.

Trav: yes you do sugar--yes you do.

I have never played that. But! I want a Wii in the worst way. I think I have the mr. talked in to one when we get our tax money. *fingers crossed*.

Brad: Awww--Ciak and Smuckers make me swoon! For the Horde!

Matty: Ooooo on an oil covered board;-)

Heather: Wii is very very cool. I'm playing Zelda Twilight Princess and we have Madden 2009 and the Arcade and Sport packs.

He got you hooked too. That makes me giggle. Did you guys get the expansions yet, or are you waiting until you get to level.

My one tip to you is to be careful letting on that you are female. I have had a few guys freak out over it. I even had a virtual stalker at one point.

But most of all, have fun!
